Nespresso Lattissima Coffee Maker Review

The Lattissima enhances Nespresso's brewing with one touch to the next level. It is able to brew espressos as well as lungo coffee in one minutes or less and it can take the vast selection of capsules.

It is also simple to reprogram the machine to make the exact drink you want. This is an excellent feature for busy families.

Simple to use

This black Nespresso machine that is basic in appearance, is easy to maintain and use. It features a minimalist, simple design and only one top-facing button that controls powering, rinsing, brewing and more. Simply take off the lid, insert a capsule and click to start making coffee. It's quick to heat up and offers various drink options, such as double-shot espresso, a 5 8 or 18-ounce cup of coffee. It also comes with a steaming tool to give a cafe-like feel to your drinks. We love the small design and simple interface, but we found that this machine didn't produce as rich a coffee or espresso as some of the more expensive models. It's also not as easy to recycle capsules as other machines we've tested. Because of this, nespresso original machine offers isn't one of the top choices for our side-by-side test.

Quick to Brew

The Nespresso machine can brew an espresso cup in just 15 minutes. The heated water from the reservoir enters through a pump before it pierces small holes at the top of the coffee pod. It is then mixed with the compacted ground coffee inside and drips into your cup. We tested the machine using Jones Brothers and Bestpresso capsules and it made a rich and flavorful espresso with a slight nutty taste. We also tried whole, almond milk, and 2% and found that all performed very well.

Easy to clean
